Drive to Lake Bunyonyi from Masaka. Our safari driver guide will meet at the agreed point as you start your safari to Lake Bunyonyi through Mbarara to Kabale -South Western Uganda. This will be an interesting 6-hour drive through three different types of vegetation. Thereafter, you will proceed through the flat savannah lands where you are likely to observe the famous long-horned Ankole cows. We shall then make a Break tea stop in Mbarara before continuing through the impressive hilly Lands of Kabale, popularly known as "the Switzerland of Uganda", When we reach Kabale Town we will proceed to Lake Bunyonyi as the evening closes in. Check in at the Lodge for relaxation. The key activity on this day will be a boat cruise at lake Bunyonyi, which will cover your first evening. Later you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight in preparation for yet another wonderful adventure.
