Arrival and Overnight at Dar es salaam

Day 1

You will be met by our driver on arrival at Julius Nyerere airport and drive to a hotel in Dar. Check in at a hotel in Dar which will be booked prior to your travelling and be relaxed. You can then shop around along with the guide from the Hotel reception and enjoy a city Tour of Tanzania’s former capital often referred to as “Dar”. Dar is not only Tanzania’s second largest city but one of the fastest growing cities in the world. Located along the coast of the Indian Ocean, Dar es Salaam is brimming with activities for anyone. Dar is not only known for its beaches and islands, but it also offers a glimpse into a vibrating African city. You will certainly enjoy this amazing City Tour
Nungwi Tortious and Spice tour

Day 2

Drive from hotel to ferry and take a ferry to Zanzibar. The sail is about two hours however there is also an option of taking a 15-minute flight at an extra cost of 40 USD. Upon arrival you will meet our driver and drive to your apartment check in and begin your tour to the spice plantation. A trip to Spice Plantation on this tour you will see and taste the tropical fruits, spices plantation or plots in the island. You will have an opportunity to see spices like Cloves, Cinnamon, Black pepper, Nutmeg, Turmeric root. They are actually growing in the plantations. Furthermore, you will see plants like Henna bushes, Lipstick tree and Lemon grass. You will have a short break for hot spice lunch prepared by a chef then visit the Kidichi Persian Baths that were built by the first Sultans of Zanzibar in 1850 and Maruhubi Palace ruins built by the third Sultan of Zanzibar in 1880. After the spice tour you will transfer to Nungwi aquarium (Baraka Natural Aquarium) in the northern part of the village. You will get to Swim and snorkel with few dozen green and Hawksbill turtles, feed the turtles with seaweed and to take photographs. In addition, you can see the offspring of all turtle species found in Zanzibar, including a leatherback turtle, a loggerhead sea turtle, and an olive Ridley turtle, some of which are rescued from the sea or from fishermen's nets. An informative guide will tell you all about the life of these endangered creatures. You will also have a chance to visit the Kuza caves an ancient limestone jungle cave with a pool of crystal clear turquoise fresh water and connect with nature. Enjoy an evening walk at Forodhani park to experience Zanzibar foods and return to your apartment to relax and start your next adventure the following day.
Safari Blue

Day 3

You will be picked up from your hotel to Fumba village where you will meet your special boat, it is about visiting three different sandbanks and you will stop in one of those for Seafood lunch where by later you do snorkelling and having the chance of seeing the dolphins as well as feeding them. It is full day tour and back at 17:30 Fumba village and arrive at the hotel around 18:30. Upon arrival you will be treated to dinner and you can freely utilise the remaining hours of the night to your advantage
Stone Town and Prison Island

Day 4

Morning drive to Stone Town for a memorable city tour. Your program starts by a walk on our Historical Stone Town Tour. This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the Palace Museum (People’s Palace), and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals, and countless mosques. You will have your lunch served hot and delicious. In the afternoon you will go to Prison island tour. Prison island is also known as Changuu island, the name "prison island" came after this unique island being used by some sultans of Zanzibar to detain the recalcitrant slaves. Once on Changuu Island, your guide will explain the colourful history of the area, including the prison building – which still stands. Today the island is home to some of Zanzibar’s oldest residents – descendants of the Aldabra giant tortoises that were a gift to the people of Zanzibar from the Seychelles government; some of them are rumoured to have reached over a hundred years old. Look a little harder and you may also spot butterflies, bats and even the very shy duiker. The island is fringed with coral reefs and your guide will make sure you have snorkelling equipment so you can potter around in the shallows, marvelling at the colourful marine life, or simply soak up the sun on the soft sands surrounding the island everything will be done to fit your taste and preference. You can also take memorable pictures with the giant tortoises, most of these animals are 70 to over 100 hundred years, with our trained guide, he will start by explaining how they that are keen on particular plants and what they dislike. This day tour will be the best for snorkelling lovers and as well as beach relaxers, however there are a lot to discover including historical sites. After this the guide will transfer you to the harbour in time for departure to your Hotel in Dar es salaam.
Return to Kampala

Day 5

After your morning breakfast at Iris Hotel, you will drive to Julius Nyerere International Airport and fly back home. Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport our guide will confirm your safe return and the trip will have come to a successful end
